1.ASSE Exchange/Trainee Programs
ASSE
stands for American Scandinavian Student Exchange, which is an
international unprofitable student exchange organization. Found in 1938
by Sweden Education Department, but it’s headquarters moved to U.S.A in
1976. It was approved by China Consulate General Los Angeles in 2000.
Having been assessed strictly, ASSE was appointed “Sponsor of Exchange
Program”, providing material for J-1 visa for the students who join ASSE
programs.
Now
it is cooperating with Chiway to carry out the programs below:

1). Middle school student exchange program
l
15-18
years old middle school students go for public high school for 1 year.
l
The
students’ English can be improved in pure English speaking environment.
l
To be
able to share both sides’ cultures, and build up long-term friendship.
l
To pave
the way for further study in America. |

2). Global professional skills training / practice program:
l
The
graduates with 3-year full-time diploma above are able to apply 12 to 18
months trainee
placement in American local companies, and gain the placement experience
abroad.
l
The
American companies supply stipend $14400~$61200
to the trainees during the placement period.
l
Provide
the trainee placement opportunity of 5 main majors with 9 types of
positions, including business management, tourism management, finance,
hotel management and marketing. |

2.Teacher Exchange Program
Shanghai
Chiway Education International Co. Ltd is going to establish teacher
exchange project for
these
middle schools under Chiway Group. The purpose of this project is to
enhance communication between teachers in both China and New Zealand and
to learn advanced management and teaching experience.

College of Education (a part of Otago University)
Our
company has already built a good and long-term business relationship
with above two universities. Developing and enhancing the relationship
with them is on the schedule next year.
