Suzhou New Cao Qiao Middle School, a newly founded mass-run middle school with well-developed system, is the outcome of the cooperation between Chiway Education Group of Shanghaiand Suzhou No.1 Middle School. In June 2003, under the approval of Suzhou municipal government, the New CaoQiao Middle School was established in the New District of High Technology, and officially started its enrollment.

The separation of proprietorship and managerial authority is incorporated in the running mode of the school. New CaoQiao Middle School is featured by “small-class teaching, characterizing, supervisor guiding and bilingual education”, together with its emphasis on psychological instruction and overall development of students, as well as its scientific humanized integrated management which advocates that “students, quality and morality should be the essential elements of academic teaching”
